Pedro is a baby green iguana (blue-colored) whose owner could no longer care for him. (We say "he" but he is currently too young to tell if male/female.) He is currently about 22-24 inches long and growing fast. He is pretty jumpy when people (big, scary predators) go to handle him, although he is doing fantastic with regular handling. You will need to work with him a lot to make sure he grows into a well-mannered adult. Iguanas can reach up to 6 feet when full grown, so potential adopters will need a large enclosure or a dedicated room with appropriate lighting and humidity. His adoption fee is $80.
